Really great helmet for the buck! Nice quality and terrific paint job. Fits nice with a much lower profile than my last Bell. The snap also has a more positive "click" than my older model.

Back in 1954 Bell founder Roy Richter formed his first helmet out of fiberglass and named it the “500”. The Custom 500 pays homage to Richter’s original design while adding modern protective technology. This helmet is a fiberglass shell that weighs in at 1200 grams, is DOT and ECE Certified and features a quilted liner and D-ring closure. Throwbacks and retro lids are nice, but nothing beats an original!
