The Scorpion SG3 MKII Gloove is the successor to the successful SG3 Glove. This glove is constructed of top quality goatskin leather with a perforatedf back hand. This gauntlet glove incorporates Knox SPS Palm Sliders, carbon fiber reinforced TPU knuckle protectors, hard TPU finger protectors, and a protective TPU pisiform protector. The SG3 MKII Gloves also feature a dual closure gauntlet and strap, digitial embossed palm grip reinforcement, pre-curved palm and fingers, with a Touchscreen compatible index finger.

1. A little short of perfect

These gloves were the only gauntlet style glove STG had when I was in the store-I’m hoping they get more options soon.. the construction on these is really good and they are comfortable with moderate ventilation. They took a long time to break in with the Velcro flaps digging into my wrists on the first few rides. They are fine now, no discomfort.

My biggest issue is with the straps/flaps. Dealing with six Velcro flaps every time I put them on or take them off is a pain in the ass, and the small one on the wrist is too small to grab with your other glove on sometimes. I’m not a big burly dude, but somehow I barely have enough Velcro space to close the last flap on my right arm (I’m left handed, so my forearm is actually smaller in my right side) and it will occasionally come loose while riding if I don’t get the Velcro just right.

I wouldn’t recommend these unless you can see them in store and try them with your riding jacket on. Nice gloves other than the damned Velcro flaps.

This glove was great in feel, as well as armor placement. The extra padding along the last finger as well as the thumb were well made/placed and the palm sliders felt terrific. Nice Velcro wrist and arm adjustments. Great throttle feedback.

This glove lasted less than half a season before the seams on the fingers gave way. Middle and last fingers both tore at the seams after only 4 months of riding.

Great gloves, Wears out way too fast.
